If you are over 50, you can play walking football. Blackmore has a very active walking football club that is based in Blackmore, but covering surrounding areas like Ongar, Brentwood, Doddinghurst and Chelmsford etc. The teams play in the Essex Walking Football League and various tournaments abroad. They train at the Blackmore sports complex and socialise in the Blackmore Sports & Social club.
